Stars descended on Venice this week for the 81st Venice International Film Festival, and as one might have expected, the paparazzi have been having a field day.
A who’s who of top celebrities find themselves in the iconic Italian city, which means outfits have already been dissected in the media, hairstyles talked about online, and general gossip is flowing like wine.
One individual who’s generated an especially loud buzz is pop legend Lady Gaga, with fans certain they’ve sussed a rather extraordinary detail she might be trying to hide. Walking hand-in-hand with fiancé Michael Polansky, the singer was snapped in a beautiful polka dot dress featuring a matching bow tied as a belt at the front.
Yet is wasn’t Gaga’s outfit that got people talking so much as what might possibly be hiding beneath it.
Now, we’re loath to stir the pot of potential misinformation, but it would seem that there are a good many internet users out there now of the belief that Gaga might be with child, and they certainly came out in force to air their opinions.
The Poker Face star looked positively radiant as she and Polansky took a stroll, with the former flaunting her impressive engagement ring as they boarded a boat to take them to the Venice International Film Festival.
But no sooner had pictures made their way to Instagram than did commenters crawl out of the woodwork to suggest that Gaga could be pregnant.
“Is she pregnant?” one person asked.
Others chimed in with comments such as “She looks pregnant” and “I think she’s pregnant 
.”
A video uploaded to Instagram which saw Gaga blowing a kiss to fans did little to quell the rumors, with one person commenting: “She is pregnant. No doubt.”
Another remarked: “She’s Glowing. Could be a Baby, could be Love. Who Knows. Love is Beautiful 
.”
Reddit users soon jumped on the bandwagon, with several images of Gaga and Polansky – in Venice to see Joker: Folie à Deux, in which Gaga stars as female lead opposite Joaquin Phoenix – shared to the platform.
Gaga’s dress is giving ‘hiding a pregnancy with bows,” one Reddit user wrote.
Of course, fans of the songstress will know that she’s spoke candidly in the past over her desire to have children.
Speaking to InStyle back in May 2020, Gaga revealed: “I will say I am very excited to have kids.”
“Isn’t it incredible what we can do? We can hold a human inside and grow it. Then it comes out, and it’s our job to keep it alive.”
The 38-year-old Gaga introduced Polansky her fiancé earlier this summer during the Paris Summer Olympics.
