The Morning Show host and her cute little girl are smiling for the camera together. Naturally, after Reese posted the photo, people started remarking on how much the two actors look alike, which is nothing new:

Some of the comments were rather humorous, especially from the people who pretended not to know who was who in the photo. “And you’re on the left of this pic? No…right? Left? …ri…left….no right,” one said. “She looks more like you than you do,” said another.
The shot is beautiful, but Reese’s touching caption to her baby is what really hit home. “Always feeling very lucky to have my wonderful, creative, talented daughter in my life !

While it’s not unprecedented for a child to resemble their mother, the internet has gone crazy over one particular mother-daughter lookalike duo. Even so, Witherspoon says that she and Phillippe “don’t see it.”
The Legally Blonde actress said, “She and I don’t see [the likeness] that much,” in response to Jenna Bush Hager calling the two of them “twins,” on Tuesday’s broadcast of Today.
Seriously? Perhaps When Witherspoon looks at her daughter, she sees a reflection of herself and becomes disoriented.
Perhaps Phillippe wants to be known for more than just being a member of the famous Witherspoon family, but being frequently confused with Reese Witherspoon isn’t the worst thing that could happen to anyone.
The 46-year-old Oscar winner is mother to Ava, 18, Deacon (who is also developing into a promising actor), and Tennessee (who is ten). Tennessee is co-parented with Jim Toth, while Ava and Deacon are co-parented with her ex-husband, Ryan Phillippe. Witherspoon admitted to Bush Hagger and Hoda Kotb that raising children with such a wide age gap has been difficult.
“You establish a different relationship,” she explained. “First of all, you’re managing them a lot when they’re little and it’s very physical. And then it’s more emotional support. And suggestions, not telling them what to do when they get a little bit older.”
She continued, “But you have to really nurture your adult relationship with your children too. And give them respect and space to become who they are, not who you want them to be.”
Forget about it if it means pretending your daughter doesn’t see any resemblance.
